A Few Characteristics
The insulation system was designed for aggressive overloads. The motor offers a 1.25 SF (1.15 SF for frames 400 and larger) with large thermal margins for extended life and reliability.
You’ll like the low vibration level of 0.1 inches/second. That exceeds NEMA MG1 requirements. It also means the motor is more stable, durable and less prone to downtime.
The EQP Global QD features v-ring or shaft slinger seals and an IP55 rating that minimizes motor operation interference caused by dust, dirt, humidity and other contaminants common to mining and aggregate environments.
Since the motor works with an adjustable speed drive, it can save you energy dollars while operating at peak speed. The insulation system meets NEMA MG1 Part 31 requirements (Inverter Duty).
